Privacy Policy
Effective November 3, 2026
The short version: Last Freeport does not collect, store, share or sell any information about you. The game runs entirely offline on your Mac. It has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking, and your saved games never leave your computer.
This policy covers the Last Freeport game for macOS (the "App") and this website, lastfreeport.com (the "Site"). Both are made by Jeremy May ("we", "us"). If you have a question about it, email support@lastfreeport.com.
1. Information the App collects
None. The App:
- makes no network connections and needs no internet access;
- has no user accounts, sign-in, or online features;
- contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software, from us or anyone else;
- does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or files outside its own storage;
- runs inside the macOS App Sandbox, which limits it to its own container on your Mac.
On the App Store this is shown as Data Not Collected.
2. Information stored on your Mac
The App saves your game progress (pilot saves and their backups) and your preferences, such as key bindings and audio settings, in its container on your Mac. This information stays on your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it.
You can delete a pilot from the main menu at any time. Deleting the App removes its saves and settings. If you use Time Machine or iCloud backups, those may keep copies under your own control.
3. Information Apple handles
You get the App through Apple's Mac App Store. Apple processes your purchase, download and payment under Apple's Privacy Policy. We don't receive your name, email address or payment details from these transactions.
If you have chosen in macOS settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send us aggregated usage statistics and anonymous crash reports. These do not identify you. We use them only to find and fix problems in the App. You can turn this off in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
4. The Site
The Site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. It loads no third-party fonts, scripts or embeds: everything is served from lastfreeport.com.
Like any website, the company that hosts the Site may automatically record standard technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This is used only to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse, and is kept for a limited time. We do not use it to identify or profile visitors.
5. When you email us
If you contact us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to fix the problem you report. We don't add you to any mailing list, and we never sell or share it. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time.
6. Children
The App collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act give you the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, and to object to its use. Because the App collects nothing, the only personal information we might hold is a support email you sent us. Email us and we will act on your request promptly. We do not sell or share personal information.
8. Security
Your game data stays on your Mac, protected by macOS and the App Sandbox. Support emails are kept in a secured email account and are not shared.
9. Changes to this policy
If the App ever adds a feature that changes how information is handled, we will update this page and its effective date before that version is released. Significant changes will also be noted in the App's release notes.
